About This Site

A person released from Grant Parish custody may no longer appear in the live jail list. This private reference site brings together the local release-record route, Louisiana custody and supervision searches, court sources, and the federal locator used for FCC Pollock. The aim is to make the correct official path easier to identify.

Why This Resource Exists

Louisiana provides several public routes for custody and release information, but each route answers a different question. The Grant Parish Sheriff's Office holds the parish jail booking and release record. Louisiana DPS&C directs public custody and community-supervision searches through LAVNS and VINELink, while its phone locator can provide a projected release date when applicable. Parole and probation records concern supervision after a person leaves physical custody. Federal Correctional Complex Pollock belongs to the Federal Bureau of Prisons, so its former prisoners must be checked through the BOP system. This site organizes those official sources, request steps, and limits without treating one database as proof of release from every authority.

Records and Search Paths

The material is organized around the custody agency and the record needed:

  • The home page explains the full released-person search and the parish release record, with separate help for an inmate release date, a VINELink release check, and parole and probation.
  • Each Grant Parish detention facility has its own page with the correct agency, address, phone, and release-search route.
  • Search instructions distinguish the current GPSO app from the statewide Louisiana locator and from BOP records.
  • Record-access sections explain how to ask GPSO for a booking record, release entry, or booking photograph.

Limits of This Site

This is a privately run reference site. It is not connected with the Grant Parish Sheriff's Office, any Louisiana jail, Louisiana DPS&C, the Federal Bureau of Prisons, or another government agency.

  • We cannot release, detain, or transfer a person.
  • We cannot post bond, arrange a visit, or send funds for someone.
  • We do not provide legal advice.
  • We cannot promise that every fee, phone number, or address remains current.

Only the agency that created the record can confirm present custody, charges, transfer, or release. The links here point toward those official sources.

How Search Partners Work

Some search boxes are supplied by outside providers. Those companies set their own prices and control their own results. If a visitor follows one of those tools and purchases a service, this site may receive a referral fee that helps keep the reference pages available without charge. We do not set a partner's price or determine what its search returns.
